Ellen Alderman joined Iron Horse Financial as a Financial Representative in July of 2014. She brought with her five years of experience in the industry, with a focus on Disability Income Insurance while applying the principles of holistic financial planning. As an authorized user of Living Balance Sheet®, Iron Horse Financial was a perfect fit for Ellen to continue her career.
With the Living Balance Sheet®, she assists her clients in navigating the independent decisions being made by each of their financial advisors. By taking a wide angled view of her client’s finances, she organizes all aspects of their financial lives. Providing clarity and confidence in the process she consults with her client’s CPA’s, Attorneys, Mortgage Brokers, Property and Casualty Agents. The goal of her planning is to ensure that all financial decisions are coordinated to maximize efficiency while minimizing risk and taxes for every client.
Outside of the office, Ellen is a busy mom balancing homework, Cub Scouts and tennis lessons. In her down time, Ellen and her husband, Patrick, enjoy cooking, training for the LA Half Marathon, watching LSU football or working on the Mayors Initiative for a Healthy Baton Rouge.
